1. Silence

She sits in the park,
A lone figure in the wind.
The bench is wet, the night closing in,
Fog drifting like something half‑remembered. You arrive only now,
but she’s been here longer than the scene lets on.What keeps her rooted in this cold?
What waits in the mist beyond the lights? The answers stay hidden.
The questions follow you out of the frame.

Oil on a 20 x 16 inch canvas.

2. His Search

He walks the fog‑lit path,
Light behind him, the night ahead.
He doesn’t say her name.
He doesn’t need to.Something has fractured between them,
He moves through the mist with a steady, deliberate stride.
The wet path glows beneath him, reflecting the resolve he didn’t have until tonight.
He isn’t chasing her; he’s chasing the chance to mend what slipped between them.
And so he searches,
through cold, through silence,
through whatever the night is willing to reveal.
