A second glance, a second painting..this time I'm drawn closer to the glow.  

The window beckons, framed in neon hush, where customers wait behind glass and steam.  

I chose this angle for its intimacy: the way it leans into the night,  

offering a glimpse of warmth, of ritual, of chowder ladled beneath fluorescent stars.  

It’s a portrait of pause...of hunger, memory, and the soft hum of Holyoke after dark.
