Seeking The Lowest Point

Seeking the Lowest Point  
In the hush of forest shade,  
water slips past granite bones…,
carving paths through time,  
feeding moss, stirring roots.

It falls, it rests, it rises.  
Here in the hills,  
life leans on every drop.  
The stream forgets nothing.  
It always returns  
to where the land lets go.
