Born from Frank Stanley Beveridge’s summer fields, it grew from 25 acres into a sanctuary of nearly 300; gardens unfolding, paths winding, wildlife moving softly through the trees.
The Carillon Tower rises like a voice of the past, its bells once carried across the nation.
Black squirrels, six small gifts from Michigan, still flicker through the branches, a living echo of 1948.
The Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima stands in devotion and remembrance, built by a father grieving a son lost to war.
And the totem pole, carved by Chief Mathias Joe Capilano, honors heritage carried across borders and time.
Stanley Park is memory shaped into earth and water,
a place where stories root themselves and keep growing.
